The faculty in Silicon City College looks into the factors surrounding ego, self-image, and self-esteem, as a major criteria in the student development. Teens are ultrasensitive to how others perceive their changing physical and emotional selves along with their mental capabilities. So the teachers of Silicon City act as a family and render their services the best possible way to handle the students of Pre – University and Degree College. One of the most important concerns of the faculty is to keep the self-esteem of a student high by:
- Avoiding embarrassment of students at all costs
- Affirming each persons talents and strengths
- Allowing mistakes and other errors to be accepted
- De-emphasizing competition between classmates
- Encouraging small-group work.
