IPR cell

Innovation is not the same as invention. Innovation is a process, which begins from the conception of an idea to the launching of a new product/process in the marketplace. Intellectual property rights (IPR) can be used effectively to facilitate successful innovation. Keeping this in mind, in Silicon City College IPR Cell was created in the year 2013 and is functional in various aspects by conduction of various workshops under IPR Committee.

Innovative technologies stand a better chance of successfully reaching the market place if Intellectual Property Rights is used strategically at the top level and yes, Silicon City College motivates the same.

A broader approach to the contribution of Intellectual Property Rights in innovation is therefore needed. With respect to this Silicon City College has extensively involved in promoting projects imbibing the creativity at degree students’ level.
