Saturday October 6, 2018 One Day National Conference On

Culture-Youth and Future

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Culture is the social behavior and customs formed and practiced by individuals living in the society. It can be expressed in the form of clothing, cooking, arts, music, dance, poetry, literature, religious, rituals, architecture, science & technology, philosophy etc.,

Swami Vivekananda once quoted to a Britisher that "In your culture a tailor makes gentlemen but in our Indian culture character makes gentlemen". Our culture is our strength and it lies in our character. Leadership that focuses on building a culture of character has the power to create, change and reinvigorate individuals, organisations and ultimately society. Character is a complex aggregate of mental and ethical traits that form the true nature of a person. The culture refers collectively to thousands of distinct and unique practices of all religions and communities present.

The Youth must know the background of the culture that teaches about manners and knowledge that leads towards path of successful life. Since there are various cultures followed across the globe, few customs are justified scientifically and few are followed as a tradition carried throughout the generations, which certainly has an impact on lifestyle. We know that when culture is present in our lives, we experience higher levels of wellbeing.

We at SCC have taken efforts to fill our thrust for knowledge in culture connecting young minds. In this context a one day national conference is organised and insight papers are invited from the academicians, research scholars, students, industrialists, artists and philanthropist on the broad sub themes given below.
